Shannon Lima

Consulting Manager & Business Leader

About

Shannon Lima’s career is defined by resilience, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous growth. With experience across media, fashion, entrepreneurship, and consulting, she brings a rare perspective to business leadership—one shaped by reinvention and disciplined execution. After beginning her career in sports media, Shannon moved into brand marketing in New York City, where she helped scale a luxury outerwear label into top-tier department stores nationwide. Her passion for building businesses led her to launch Pickles & Roses, a startup brand that achieved national retail distribution and gave her hands-on exposure to every aspect of entrepreneurship, from sourcing and supply chain management to fundraising and retailer negotiations. Recognizing the importance of strategic and financial rigor, Shannon returned to school to earn her MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. That decision marked a pivotal turning point, enabling her transition into consulting and finance-focused roles. Today, she serves as a Consulting Manager at Cognizant, specializing in M&A and Organizational Change Management, where she helps organizations navigate complex change and long-term growth. Outside of client work, Shannon is deeply invested in advancing women in business. Through her involvement with the Women’s Bond Club, she mentors and supports young women entering finance and consulting careers. She is also a dedicated mother, athlete, and wellness advocate who believes balance, boundaries, and community are essential to sustained success.
